Considerable interest surrounds the International Organization for Standardization’s Anti-Bribery Standard, referred to as ISO 37001 and published in October 2016. However, it is important for businesses to be mindful of the distinction between an exacting technical standard for a product and the broad, principle-based nature of the Anti-Bribery Standard.
