In-House Perspectives on Compliance’s Role in Managing New and Emerging Risks

The current state of geopolitical tensions and conflicts around the world was the elephant in the room in many of the sessions with in-house experts at Compliance Week’s 19th annual national conference in Washington, D.C., in April 2024, but one message was clear: to have meaningful impact, compliance professionals must have a seat at the table. Compliance needs tools and resources – as well as buy-in from leadership, the board and other stakeholders – to build and strengthen culture and to create the risk mindset needed to tackle the company’s biggest challenges.
